GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANA, PR&R In light of the actual need for manpower in relation to the nature of the Department’s work and operations, as well as the total cost implications, the Telangana Govt has chosen to fill (9355) empty Junior Panchayat Secretaries positions through DSC.

In the reference 6th read above, the Commissioner for Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment stated that the existing 8684 Gramme Panchayats had been reorganized, bringing the total number of Gramme Panchayats in the state to 12,751. He also requested the government create (6603) posts of Panchayat Secretary in order to provide one Panchayat Secretary to every Gramme Panchayat and fill up (9355) vacancies right away.

Selection Process for TS Junior Panchayat Secretary Recruitment

Guidelines for hiring junior panchayat secretaries in TS
The key components of the hiring process shall be as follows.
- Receiving Applications => Ten days after the notification is issued, applications will be accepted online.
- Education => A graduation in any discipline from an accredited university will suffice as the candidate’s minimal educational requirement.
- Age Restrictions => The candidate’s age range is 18 to 39 for general candidates, with a 5-year upper age restriction relaxation for candidates who are SC, ST, or BC, and a 10-year relaxation for individuals who fall under the PHC category.
- Local => Since the state contains 30 new districts, with the exception of Hyderabad’s urban district, the candidate for Jr. Panchayat Secretary must be a local candidate from one of the new districts. A reasonable number of positions will be left unreserved, nonetheless, in conformity with the Presidential Order.
- Method of Selection => Candidates will be chosen based on the results of an objective-type written test that consists of two papers that last three hours each.
TS Junior Panchayat Secretary Recruitment (Exam Paper)
- A. Paper-I: Paper-I, worth 150 points, covers general knowledge and general mental ability.
- B. Paper II: The 150-mark Paper II covers the TPR Act of 2018, Panchayat Raj Institutions and Local Governance, Rural Development, Telangana History, Culture, Geography, and Economy, as well as Government Schemes.
