The story of the movie is totally based on a love story. Where a Punjabi boy Rocky and an intellectual Bengali journalist Rani fall in love forgetting their differences. Being a Punjabi boy and a Bengali girl together is not easy for their family to accept. They are also facing family opposition. So, they decided that the live with each other family for three months before marriage.

In this movie, Ranveer Singh is a flam boy. The movie is totally based on Indian culture.
